MetaFitRX C'ville FAQ
At MetaFitRx, we schedule 30 minutes for your DEXA appointment. While the actual scan takes about 6–10 minutes, we dedicate the remaining time to reviewing your results with you. We ensure you leave our Charlottesville lab with a clear understanding of your body fat distribution, lean muscle mass, and more.
To ensure the most accurate results, please wear comfortable, athletic clothing without metal zippers, buttons, or underwires. Many clients choose leggings or gym shorts and a T-shirt. You will remain fully clothed throughout the process, but we will ask you to remove any jewelry or watches.
To accurately track changes in muscle mass or body fat, we recommend a follow-up scan every 3 to 6 months. This provides a sufficient window to see the impact of your nutrition and training adjustments. Our Charlottesville clients get a generous discount on re-assessments.
We are located at 195 Riverbend Dr, Suite 2, Charlottesville, VA 22911. You can find us in the Pantops area, situated in the Virginia Land Co. building near the South Pantops Shopping Center.
